So how do I do this adoption thingie?

We’re super excited to announce that PawSafe Animal Rescue, Inc. is now in Ellington CT as well as Patterson NY! Our two locations operate a little differently and we want to layout the process in both locations so that we can make adoption a positive experience for you.

You’ll notice that each animal listed on our site has a name, the date they are available, and their location (NY/CT). You can meet dogs ready for “adoption now at any time. Dogs with later availability can not be met until those dates.

Ellington Connecticut
Ok, so you want to meet listed as available in Ellington CT. Super.
1) Fill out our online adoption application.
2) Visit during any of open hours:
Monday 11am-1pm
Wednesday 4pm-7pm
Friday 3pm-6pm
Saturday 9:30am-12pm
Occasionally adoptions can also be arranged by appointment.

*** We are a small rescue so PLEASE email to verify before visiting as hours and dates can change depending on when the dogs are ready for adoption ***
